After another weekend of snow, the spring sports schedule has been pushed back for what looks like at least another week.

All Northfield varsity events planned for Monday and Tuesday, 11 in total, have either been canceled or postponed. Girls golf had a round scheduled each day and boys golf was supposed to get on the course Monday. Boys tennis was slated for a pair of home matches Monday and Tuesday, while baseball was forced to eliminate a scheduled contest on both days.

Both boys and girls lacrosse were forced to reschedule its season openers against Rochester John Marshall, while both track and field squads postponed their second meets of the season slated for Tuesday.

Already for Thursday, all five of scheduled games have been wiped clean with boys golf, baseball, girls lacrosse, softball and boys tennis being forced out of competition.

For Friday, the home girls lacrosse matchup with Owatonna has been postponed, while a home baseball game against Rochester Century, a home softball clash against Rochester John Marshall and a boys lacrosse contest at Owatonna have also been delayed to a future date.

A baseball doubleheader at home against Austin has been postponed to May 5, while a softball game at the Academy of Holy Angels remains on the docket.
