Nearly 12,000 students from 349 high school teams are participating in the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League’s (MNSHSCTL) 2018 spring season, which began April 1. Those are the highest participation numbers ever for the state, according to League officials.

Waterfowl conservation efforts in the upper Mississippi River Flyway, hunter use of state wildlife management areas and current waterfowl research are some of the topics planned for the Minnesota Waterfowl Symposium – a one-day conference for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts and wildlife professionals.

Play Ball! Minnesota will conduct a free youth baseball clinic Saturday, May 26 in St. Peter. Hosted by St Peter Baseball Association, the clinic will take place at Veterans Memorial Field 1 and 2. In the event of rain, the clinic will be relocated to Community Center.
