2017 Lamborghini Centenario Roadster Review

The 2017 Lamborghini Centenario is designed to celebrate the 100th birthday what would have been the hundredth birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini founder of the company. they actually go to town all these cars it it might some of you I can understand totally why some of you will not like this car it.

is wild in the extreme but there are some matching some lovely details in the sonicator the little air intakes to the side of these front lights here. It weighs less than an Aventador sv because well its got carbon-fibre bonnet carre part of doors is post viola medium and the same with the front fender too so it’s about 1520 kg all in which is well it sounds like it’s only a five kilos saving over an SV but we bear in mind some of the other technology that’s on this 2017 Lamborghini Centenario it’s actually a bigger weight saving overall if you see what I mean.

Other details in the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario well the wheels they’re forged and milled and minion but then with these come fiber blades on them as well which extract the heat from the big carbon brakes.

The engine was the familiar six and a half liter naturally aspirin to eight thousand six hundred rpm and sounding absolutely glorious I know dad as it does so it’s now producing 770 PS which is 759 brake horsepower and putting out 509 pounds for the talk which is shall we say am I think.

in the back of the car we can see a few more of the glorious details of this you can see the definition between the matte carbon fiber and the glass carbon fiber will make it we’ve which is really rather lovely also we’ve got a huge diffuser here I love the fact that you can see the rear tire exposed with this cutaway into the diffuser there which it’s absolutely gorgeous.

These lights are now Lamborghini lighting it says nice little script on top and even look I’m just up here looks as though they’re floating and these amazing sort of fins coming out the back all very nice indeed.

The rear wing as well is now on hydraulics trucks so think sort of comparing p one way that rises up like that and that obviously adds weight which is one of the reasons it’s something where you subjectively less than an SV but doesn’t get to play more than an SV the other thing is is now got real wheel steering which we know is something that’s worked exceptionally well on the latest 991 generation of 911 and they’ve developed this new p0 tire to go with that.

So what do you get for your 1.75 million euros plus taxes of course inside the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario well the big news is that you get a 10 inch touchscreen in the middle which is quite a big departure early for the event do it means they’ve had to totally redesign.

This center console here and it does make the interior look much more modern that have to say it’s yeah I can only assume they’re saying that it won’t appear in event doors for the moment but you’ve gotta soon there will be an updated face lifting adventure at some point and this will appear because it just yeah it lifts the whole interior master.

2017 Lamborghini Centenario will do naught 62 miles an hour 2.8 seconds and go on to 300 bronze an hour under an 86 miles an hour 20 3.5 seconds which is just the 10 seconds. so than the you share on which I think this is more about the sheaerr on than it does denigrate this in any way.

Everything else well some lovely stitching as you would expect and apart from that it’s very much Aventador fair. The seats they do actually felt slightly more comfortable the Aventador seat switches well and I still very hard and you’ve got these enormous great paddles here which are such a feature the car. Gearbox is still the 7-speed is our independent shifting rod gearbox which is single clutch gearbox.

and yeah it can be fairly brutal but the same different super nodes as well. The big news as well is that the steering was it still the dynamic steering which you’ve been fairly sort of well critical of let’s face it in the past it’s also now tuned with this new rear-wheel steering so it’ll be interesting to see how that feels we know it can make a car feel much lighter and much more agile.
